Archiving Policy

Indonesian Journal of Physical Activity is committed to preserving the scholarly articles it publishes to ensure their long-term availability and accessibility. To achieve this, Indonesian Journal of Physical Activity employs multiple archiving services, including PKP PN Archiving Service, while also adhering to the principles of the Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe (LOCKSS) initiative under official agreements and the use of free plugins.

PKP PN Archiving Service
Indonesian Journal of Physical Activity participates in the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Preservation Network (PN) Archiving Service to ensure the preservation of its published articles. This archiving service allows journal to safely store and maintain digital copies of its articles in a secure and decentralized network, ensuring their availability for future generations of readers and researchers.

LOCKSS Concept
Indonesian Journal of Physical Activity adopts the principles of the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) initiative, which is based on the concept of preserving content through distributed archiving. By maintaining multiple copies of its articles across different locations, Indonesian Journal of Physical Activity ensures the redundancy and resilience of its archival system, minimizing the risk of content loss and guaranteeing continued access to its publications.

PKP PN Archiving Plugin
Indonesian Journal of Physical Activity utilizes the PKP PN Archiving Plugin, a free and efficient tool provided by the Public Knowledge Project. This plugin facilitates the archiving process by automatically depositing articles into the PKP PN Archiving Service, contributing to the widespread dissemination and preservation of journal's scholarly content.
