Kapasitas Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Dalam Penyelenggaraan Olahraga Rekreasi Untuk Mendukung Pengelolaan Pariwisata Di Kulonprogo

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan melalui pemberdayaan Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) di Kabupaten Kulonprogo. Penelitian difokuskan pada sosialisasi mengenai konsep pariwisata berkelanjutan, penguatan peran Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) sebagai motor penggerak desa wisata, serta pendampingan strategi pengelolaan berbasis potensi lokal. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 41 orang. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai 84,9 % masuk kategori sangat baik. Artinya, kapasitas POKDARWIS dalam merencanakan dan menyelenggarakan olahraga rekreasi menjadi positif terhadap peningkatan pengelolaan pariwisata di Kabupaten Kulonprogo. Responden menilai bahwa aspek yang paling kuat adalah : (1) Integrasi kearifan lokal dalam konsep rekreasi, Penciptaan peluang partisipasi yang sama bagi seluruh masyarakat, (3) Kerja sama antar lembaga. Sedangkan aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah: (1) Pertimbangan faktor finansial & fasilitas, (2) Penyesuaian standar nasional dengan kondisi lokal. Adanya peningkatan pemahaman anggota (POKDARWIS) dan masyarakat tentang prinsip keberlanjutan, terbentuknya komitmen bersama dalam menjaga lingkungan dan budaya lokal, serta munculnya rencana aksi komunitas untuk mendukung keberlanjutan destinasi wisata di wilayah Kulonprogo. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan (POKDARWIS), menumbuhkan kesadaran kolektif masyarakat, serta mendorong terciptanya pengelolaan pariwisata yang lebih berkelanjutan dan berdaya saing.
