Futsal sebagai Sarana Peningkatan Kesehatan Mental Anak
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak futsal sebagai sarana peningkatan kemampuan motorik dan citra tubuh anak-anak berusia 8 hingga 12 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi quasi-experimental dengan melibatkan 20 anak laki-laki yang mengikuti program intervensi futsal selama 18 sesi, masing-masing satu jam, yang dibagi menjadi tiga modul: aktivitas perpindahan, koordinasi, serta menendang dan melempar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan motorik, di mana skor rata-rata untuk koordinasi ocular-manual meningkat dari 2,1 menjadi 3,5 dan untuk koordinasi ocular-pedal dari 1,8 menjadi 3,2 setelah intervensi. Selain itu, analisis citra tubuh menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak lebih memahami bagian-bagian tubuh mereka setelah program, dengan gambar yang dibuat menjadi lebih detail dan mencerminkan peningkatan kesadaran diri. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa futsal tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan fisik tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan citra tubuh positif. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar futsal diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan jasmani untuk mendukung perkembangan holistik anak-anak. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengeksplorasi efek jangka panjang dari praktik futsal serta faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan motorik dan psikologis anak-anak di berbagai konteks sosial budaya.
